Dressed in an all feminine red dress, Monica looked extremely gorgeous as she gazed at the sea. She must have been there for more than an hour but I only noticed her about thirty minutes ago. I became captivated, not just by her red dress, but her long black hair.I really wanted to see her face, such beauty from behind could only be more captivating facially.
suddenly my phone rang, it was my colleague lodging at the same hotel we had used for business for the past three years. Akinwumi too was glued to his window, no human could resist taking a second look at this view of Monica. Then Akinwumi spoke, almost under his breath ''Uche, she's turning, look at that! look at that! her face! I stared and she smiled, like she was in a movie, only this was too real. she laughed and her red dress was forgotten, her black hair mattered no more, her beautiful frame no longer captured my attention.
She laughed like a child, like there was no tomorrow, like someone just bought her a new toy, like she didn't have a care in the world. She laughed and my troubled life suddenly looked brighter.
She laughed till there were tears in her eyes .And for a moment, I wondered if there was something troubling her as she wiped her face with her left hand.Then she laughed again and I heard the sounds of pure joy and contentment.As she raised both hands to heaven, I saw a book just like the one mama gave me when I was sixteen. I treasured it and kept it safe, even though Mama said '' read and be saved''. I took another look at Monica, no , she ain't no Monica, she's got to be Miracle. she held the book close, her right hand raised to the heavens. My phone rang again: Akinwumi:'' she must be a Jesus freak''
